 Technical Buyer- Electronics (Full-Time)



We have an immediate opening for a Technical Buyer who will be responsible for:

  • Coordinating parts needs and requirements with technicians to ensure appropriate parts and materials are on hand
  • Researching parts and outsourcing when necessary 
  • Ensuring parts delivery timeframe supports customer delivery dates
  • Quoting follow through and managing of vendors
  • Scheduling and tracking status of repair jobs with suppliers
  • Negotiating discount agreements and terms/pricing with vendors
  • Inventory control and test fixture management
  • Communicating and collaborating with customers
  • Managing OEM relationships
  • Managing and coordinating all eBay sales and purchases



We are looking for the successful candidate to have the following:


  • Demonstrated tactical and strategic buying experience
  • Technical background/knowledge of industrial controls and electronics
  • Technician skills desirable
  • A positive, professional, and proactive attitude
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills with a high degree of accuracy
  • Flexibility, adaptability and receptive to change
  • Strong computer skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Windows applications, especially MSWord and MS Excel
  • Knowledge and experience with eBay
  • Associates degree or equivalent experience

Variable Frequency Drive Electronic Repair Technician (Full or Part-Time)



We have an immediate opening for a highly skilled technician specialized in variable frequency drive (VFD) repair. 


The candidate will be responsible for:


  • Diagnosing, repairing and testing of variable frequency drives  to the component level


We are looking for the successful candidate to have the following:


  • Background and understanding of industrial controls and how they work
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex analog and/or digital circuits to the component level with or without schematics
  • Ability to create partial schematics from existing circuit cards
  • Ability to solder through-hole and surface mount components
  • Understanding of how to test controls properly after repair
  • Minimum 1 year of related experience
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Windows applications
  • 2-year technical degree or equivalent experience
